ROYTEC's Security Officers are charged with the responsibility of securing the premises and student safety. Students must visibly display their Student Identification Card upon entry into the building and whilst on the premises. Students without identification will be required to pay a fee for a temporary one day pass. Evacuation plans are posted in every room. In an emergency evacuation, Marshals can be identified by their fluorescent jackets and will safely direct you to the muster point.

Evacuation Procedures

In case of a Fire or Bomb threat, occupants are asked to follow instructions from trained Evacuation Marshalls who can be easily identified by their fluorescent jackets. Students must pay attention to Emergency Alarms and must obey Security Announcements. Regular Emergency Response Simulations are conducted every term and students are required to take part in Safety and Evacuation Drills. All students are required to familiarize themselves with the Evacuation Plan for the building at each location.  Each classroom has an Emergency Floor plan which indicates all Exit Routes. Occupants are reminded that the elevator must not be used in an emergency.

Differently-Abled Support & First Aid Services

All ROYTEC staff is trained in First Aid. Our facility is equipped with a sick bay on the northern side on the ground floor. First aid supplies are available at the ground floor Administration Office, Student Welfare Office and the Sick Bay.

Please advise the Student Welfare Office of any medical or physical condition that may require special attention.

Self Defense

Students are encouraged to protect themselves at our Self Defense sessions. This workshop provides practical knowledge for everyday self defense.

Students can learn defensive tactics to effectively disarm their attacker and anticipate dangerous situations. Demonstrations are conducted in the art of Taekwondo and Hapkido Martial Arts.
