Programme ObjectivesIn association with the Faculty of Business Administration, University of New Brunswick (UNB) Canada, ROYTEC offers a structured Associate of Science Degree in Management leading to the UNB Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree. The programme is designed to deliver a comprehensive business education emphasizing critical thinking, financial literacy, market literacy and communication skills as important learning goals. The main purpose of the programme is to provide business administration students with an innovative and effective preparation for a professional career in business. The BBA curriculum allows students the flexibility to specialise in Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and/or International Business. | Admission RequirementsA minmum of five (5) CXC passes (General Proficiency) Grades I and II (Grade III accepted from June 1998 onwards) or five (5) GCE O’Level passes, Grades A, B and C (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics. Students may also be considered on the basis of their work experience, training and educational background, as deemed relevant by the ROYTEC Admissions Committee to be the equivalent of the above for the purpose of study and may be subject to an interview. Students who have successfully completed the ROYTEC Associate Degree Programme (66 credit hours), obtain a minimum “C” grade in all courses and maintain a GPA of 2.0, may apply to complete the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Bachelor of Business Administration programme at ROYTEC; or they may choose to pursue the same course of study at UNB’s Fredericton Campus in Canada.
